Tigran Hamasyan, who is currently touring Europe with music from StandArt, his new album of American standards, has shared a full concert performance of songs from the album. Hamasyan and the trio featured on StandArt—bassist Matt Brewer and drummer Justin Brown—filmed the performance at Pôle PIXEL in Villeurbanne, France. You can watch it here.

Tigran Hamasyan, who is currently touring Europe with music from StandArt, his new album of American standards, has shared a full concert performance of songs from the album. Hamasyan and the trio featured on StandArt—bassist Matt Brewer and drummer Justin Brown—filmed the performance at Pôle PIXEL in Villeurbanne, France. Produced by Hamasyan, StandArt includes songs from the 1920s through the 1950s by Charlie Parker, Richard Rodgers, Jerome Kern, Elmo Hope, and others, plus a piece Hamasyan improvised with Brewer, Brown, and trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire. Guesting on the album are saxophonists Joshua Redman and Mark Turner. You can pick up a copy of StandArt and hear it here.
